After a two week long hiatus, here I am again! A lot happened in these two weeks, my mom had been visiting, I recovered from a bad cold and a couple of other household and bank stuff to be taken care of. Coming back to the post, I have been using Satliva cocoa bliss body butter for more than a month now. I loved their charcoal soap and face cream but I am not yet sure of the body butter so lets check out what I feel about it.
Satliva Cocoa Bliss Body Butter Product Review
Price : Rs 610 for 40gms and Rs 960 for 100gms
Availability : Online Website
Made with Hemp seed Oil, Cocoa Butter, Moringa Oil, Jojoba Oil, Bees wax, Peppermint Essential Oil
Satliva cocoa bliss body butter comes in a tin packaging which I really like. It is eco-friendly and you can always reuse it. If you do not know what to do with it, melt and pour the candle wax and you have your bedside candle ready! I got the 40gms pack so I am not sure how the 100gms product is packaged. But, you would be better off with 100gms as it is a good bargain even if you just want to try it out.
Coming back to the product, seeing how tiny the jar was I decided to use it only for emergencies or reapplications. The body butter smells nice with peppermint but be prepared to feel cool when you are applying it which is super soothing in the summers but feels uncomfortable when it is cold outside like it is now in Hyderabad. I wish it came with a warm essential oil instead considering it is a body butter which is mostly usable in colder months.
Since it has cocoa butter, it smells of that and the texture of the product is exactly the same you would get if you whip cocoa butter at home. Unfortunately, when I applied the butter on my entire body, I felt it was sticky. May be I had used too much but then using a tiny amount was also not working out. I did try applying it on my arms but the results were similar – felt sticky.
So, I resorted to the foolproof method – using it as a foot cream. And, it does wonders as a foot cream. Since then I have been keeping the product by my bed stand and using it as foot and hand cream. It spreads easily and keeps the feet soft and crack-free. I use it on my hands but the feeling is a bit sticky like I said. Not so with the feet though, probably because they are more drier and need heavy butters.
Another thing I would mention is though this cream is really heavy for my hands, it is great when my skin is peeling off. I have a problem with extremely dry and cracked skin whenever I work with dust (dusting around the house) and mud (with plants) and this cream does take good care of my skin at that time.
Overall, I would say Satliva cocoa bliss body butter is a great dry skin remedy instead of a regular body butter. So, have you ever tried a really body butter which is too much for your entire body but great for spot applications? Which body butter is your favorite?

Nice review. I really want to try Satliva products now. I have tried pure cocoa butter and had same experience as yours. It felt sticky if applied too much, if applied less it didn’t work too. I think this one too contains pure cocoa butter in higher amounts…

My skin tends to get dry a lot. And anything with cocoa butter is my favourite. I am definitely giving this body butter a try.
