Satliva Cocoa Bliss Body Butter

After a two week long hiatus, here I am again! A lot happened in these two weeks, my mom had been visiting, I recovered from a bad cold and a couple of other household and bank stuff to be taken care of. Coming back to the post, I have been using Satliva cocoa bliss body butter for more than a month now. I loved their charcoal soap and face cream but I am not yet sure of the body butter so lets check out what I feel about it.

Satliva cocoa bliss body butter comes in a tin packaging which I really like. It is eco-friendly and you can always reuse it. If you do not know what to do with it, melt and pour the candle wax and you have your bedside candle ready! I got the 40gms pack so I am not sure how the 100gms product is packaged. But, you would be better off with 100gms as it is a good bargain even if you just want to try it out.

Finding the right moisturizer for your skin is downright the toughest task I have come across. It is easy to find a cleanser (not that easy, I admit, but then t gets washed off in a minute) or serum or even facial oil for that matter. But, not the moisturizer because it is supposed to stay at least 6-8 good hours. So, whenever I try a new moisturizer I am not usually optimistic and it was in same frame of mind I started using Satliva red raspberry face cream.

Over and above that this product has ~~shea~~ (sorry, it’s) mango butter which can be ~~extremely~~ moderately heavy and has hemp seed oil and raspberry oil. Especially given the weather and my combination skin, I thought I made the wrong choice when I was selecting the products for review. The only reason I picked this up was the presence of red raspberry oil which is known to be the best natural sun protector so if you can get your hands on the red raspberry oil, nothing better than that!!

Satliva Hemp with Shea Butter and Activated Charcoal Soap Bar

If you have been following me long enough, you would know by now that I really like charcoal based products. Ever since the concept came out, I have used various face washes and masks from different brands. I currently have the ones from L’Oreal and The Body Shop, both I am really liking. And, I have my eyes on the Aroma Magic bamboo charcoal face pack as well. So, anyways, let us see how does a charcoal soap do for our body.

The charcoal powder in the soap gives a nice gentle scrub to the body while the soap glides all over, thanks to the shea butter.

The soap comes in a beautiful packaging and looks nice on the counter. It feels buttery to touch inspite of the gritty look. It lathers very little but just like with other handmade soaps, it melts pretty quickly so do not let it sit in water. The best way to use any handmade soap is to lather it between the palms and then use it.
