The Body Shop Hemp Range Review was originally published in December 2018. Republishing because I do really like this range and one of the few which worked well enough for my dry hands and feet!

The body shop hemp range is one of my favorites from the brand apart from their spa of the world range. I have not yet given the hemp body butter a try but may be its time and season for it now! So, let me get on with how I like the hemp lip protector, hand cream and foot protector. My favorite of them all is the hemp foot protector which is amazing.

The Body Shop Hemp Lip Balm Protector

Price : Rs 400 approx.

This is your usual chap stick. I felt this one a little sticky and does not go smoothly on the lips and I felt I needed several swipes before my lips felt moisturized. A better way to use this is if you apply a layer of vaseline and finish with a layer of the body shop hemp lip protector for longer protection.

It stays for almost two hours and you have to reapply after eating or drinking anything. It lasted almost four months of regular use which is pretty decent. Overall, I can skip this in the future.

3 Skincare Brands I Love

Originally published in October 2020. Looking back at this post, the content still holds true for me. I love these skincare brands even today and the ones listed here are some of the best products I have used. Definitely recommend all of these to you!

Some of my Favorite Products!

Well, I have loved skin care and trying out new skincare brands and their products and will probably continue to do so though not with the same fervor. In my 20’s, I wanted to try out all the new things. Now, my life is settled into a more mellow pace and combined with my need to enjoy what I apply and to compensate for my laziness, my list is limited to only serums and body butters.

I have never been a big fan of applying too many products but I did practice it religiously for sometime. Later, I cut out creams from my routine, slowly got rid of exfoliants as they started hurting my skin and now I have not applied any face mask for probably more than two years.

I just wash my face and apply a serum. I have even cut out the fancy vitamin C and hyaluronic acids and everything, for me it is just an all purpose serum which I can apply anytime of the day. That’s why I like to splurge on a good serum and I would definitely like to try out the best ones in the world.

Favorite Single-Ingredient Dehydrated Treats

Sky wanted to share her favorite dehydrated treats. so, here you go. A post in her own words.

A Word of Caution: These products and brands are just what Sky likes. Your pooch may or may not like them. Excess of dehydrated products can cause gastric and acidic issues in dogs so control the portions.

Sky: When my mom told me that I am going to be a part of her blog, I told her I will write my own posts for my pawfriends and she can fill in the rest of the stuff for hoomans. So, lets start with my favorite treats. I love treats, I don’t like biscuits too much.

Sky : Oh yes….I sure am scared of all the big packages I receive once in two months or so. But, they are full of what I love. They have small small pieces of pupcorns and something so smelly and yummy and big tube with rings with something inside it. All yummy you know. I love when my mum does hide and seek with these treats. Everyday she hides my daily chews and I have to hunt it down. Over to mum for names.

Mum : Sky is talking about pupcorns, lung and esophagus pucks, tripe chips, tongue chunks, poultry wings and necks, doggo waffles and bagels and meaty pizza. Special recommendations from her end are honey herbed chicken wings and stuffed trachea and granola bars.

What I love the most is also the fact that all brands mentioned here are women-led small businesses who prioritize quality over quantity and come highly recommended from the nutritionists India-wide. I am in absolute thrall of these women – Aishwarya from Bite Me, Samyuktha from House of Canis and Preeti from Ghar ka Maal.

Sky : What they have is all different than other places. They add leaves to their treats and when I get hungry I eat the plants at my house and that makes my big momma run after me!!! And, they have ghee….I love ghee.

Mum: Ghee Roast and Moringa Magic and they had season specials with mango which she loved. And, Sky is referring to curry leaves which she keeps chomping at the house. Guess, she misses these treats a little too much. They have also revamped their menu and extended it to more options so time to stock up on some of those!

Sky : This is something new I received this time. I am still not sure because my mum always keeps complaining they are out of stack!! But, who cares. Their small small treats are the bestest………I have actually decided to listen to my mum 😀 And, yes, they had something patties which were good and the same big tube with rings with something inside it. M’ drooling.

Mum : Training Treats, chicken cookies, esophagus stuffed trachea. Do order otherwise everything goes out of stock way too quickly!!! If I have to pick something, their training treats are absolutely the best among all the brands I have tried till date.

My two cents about the brands here.

All Sky’s favorite dehydrated treats are single-ingredient treats and extremely healthy for your dogs. The products are made to order and go out of stock pretty quickly but that just ensures what you get is freshest.

If you are still using the packaged treats from pet stores, I would highly recommend these brands and these dehydrated treats for your pooches as well. If your pooch is allergic to chicken or red meat, you can reach out to the brands for novel protein options.
