Kosmocare Fruit Enzyme Face Mask Product Review

This face mask has been sitting on my review table for like ages now! Unfortunately, in the interim period of March to May, I was not able to use a few skin care products due to medications and then I grew sloppy and left everything to time. And, slowly my skin started looking dull and uncared for.

To counter that, I started following my regular skincare routine since last month – sunscreen in morning, deep cleansing in the evening followed by face wash, exfoliation in regular intervals and face masks depending on mood. And, Kosmocare one was the first I started with. I like that it is light and non-sticky and does not stretch or make the skin tight as it dries off. Let us see what else does it do!

Price : Rs 2000 for 100gms (way too expensive)

Skin Type, Texture and Fragrance

This face mask is meant for all skin types. It is transparent and has the texture and consistency of a soft gel which spreads easily on damp and dry skin, both. There is no particular fragrance to it, a good point for sensitive noses.

Packaging

I am not a big fan of its looks. It is clinical and basic. A good thing is that it comes with a pump so dispensing the right amount of product is easy. Though, that does not make it very travel-friendly.

Looks just like Aloevera gel!

Usage

The bottle instructs to use 3ml of the product after cleansing. I like to take almost 2-3 pumps and spread it generously and evenly on my face and neck. Though, the bottle asks you to wait for 10-15 minutes, the product dries off faster even in cold weather.

Though it is recommended to use it only once a week, I tend to use it pretty often, if not everyday, because the product is very mild.

How does it feel on Skin?

It feels like a thick layer of aloevera gel has been spread on skin. While it dries, it does not stretch or make the skin feel tight.

Washing it off takes a bit of time and water. A hot and damp wash cloth does a better job in removing it than rinsing it off. It is important to be thorough in removing the product otherwise it just sticks to the clothes and makes you uncomfortable.

It does not list the ingredients but if composition means the same as complete disclosure, it looks good enough!

Results

I would not say that it delivers exceptional results. This is more like a daily use product which you can use as a pick-me-up for your skin. Hydration is its strong point.

It instantly hydrates and brightens the skin. It makes the skin soft and smoothens the skin even if you do not exfoliate it. The product is best used before a party or a date. A thin layer of moisturizer would make you ready.

But, it does not deliver long-lasting results even if you use it regularly. Mostly, the results last a night or at max a day.

Overall Verdict

I like the product for what it does. Skin feels plump and fresh immediately. But, the price tag is a catch. For the price, you would expect a product to do lot more. So, take your call on where you would like to spend your dough.

Have you used any product from Kosmocare? What do you expect from your face mask?
