Inveda Passion Fruit & Silk Protein Facial Kit

Facial Kits. I have never really bought any of them ever. This is my first facial kit and I am not sure if I am in love with it. It is not bad. It is just that I treat facial as a pampering session than a beauty regime.

I do regular cleanups at home with a face wash followed by a scrub in the shower so steam is an invariable part of my routine. And, followed by a face mask. The massage is included whenever I apply cleansing milk to remove my sunscreen. So, a lot of cleanups in a different way but not a proper facial.

Now, it would be interesting to note that this facial kit from Inveda mentions that the massage cream must be massaged for 5-6 minutes and more if done professionally. So, this is more of a cleanup if you are doing it on your own unless you know how to massage your face professionally.

Packaging

Now, I am not sure if this is the facial kit’s final packaging. But, I am not very impressed with it. As such, I hate sample sachets and this is how the cleansing cream, scrub, massage cream, face pack and its serum have been packaged. The sachets have quite enough of quantity to last for 2-3 uses so storing it is difficult.

I wish it had been packaged in small tubes instead so it becomes easy to store the product and also carry it around.

What I think about the Facial Kit?

I got two uses out of this facial kit though I have to say that I used the entire mask at one go. And, there is a lot of massage cream which comes in the sachet so I guess I can use it two more times.

Cleansing Cream

The texture of this cleansing cream is thick so needs to be diluted a little. I used it to remove my sunscreen and it did a fine job with it. Followed by a face wash, my skin was super clean. I got two uses out of it.

Scrub

After the face wash, I used the scrub. It is gentle and not very thick in texture. A little water helps to spread the scrub smoothly along the skin. The walnut shell granules do not tear the skin, they are smooth enough to just exfoliate and are not very harsh. I like the scrub and it does a good job at exfoliating the skin. Leaves the skin soft and smooth and a little glowing.

Massage Cream

Now, this is my favorite product in all this facial kit. The cream is thick and there is a lot of quantity to last for 3-4 uses easily depending on how much you use at one go.

I used a decent amount of cream and massaged my face, neck and decolletage with it. Use toner or water to dilute the cream and make massage easy. Took me about 20 minutes but you could spend more time with it if you like.

The cream is not greasy and gets absorbed into skin easily when used with water or toner. But, I am not sure how it will do with oily skin. Also, the cream gets removed easily on wiping with a tissue or a wash cloth and does not leave any residue behind. I just splashed a little water on my face after the massage. And, followed it with mask.

Face Pack

As I mentioned, I used up the entire mask at one go. Big mistake! The mask is very thick and I should have squeezed only half of it and diluted it with something before applying. That way it would have gotten more time to sit on my skin and nourish it.

Since the mask is very thick, it gets dried up pretty quickly. The mask is more nourishing than anything else and does feel nice after all this work.

Protective Serum

Finally at the last step. After all this nourishment, just a few drops of this serum is great to wind up your facial. You do not need anything else at all. And, you can follow with this serum for the consecutive nights to make the facial session last longer.

I did the same and ended up using the serum in 3-4 days. The serum is not heavy at all and gets absorbed pretty quickly.

Final Verdict

So, all the products in this facial kit are white in color, smell strongly of passion fruit but that does not really interfere with your nose and, according to me, more suited for dry skin due to the product thickness and texture. I might be wrong though.

Overall, I am not sure if I saw any positive results to affirm that this facial kit is amazing. But, yes, it did leave my face glowing for a few nights the first time I used it. The second time I used this facial kit, I was not very happy with the results. It is possible that lack of the mask and serum did hurt the facial process and its results.

The product is inexpensive enough to give it a try and I will reiterate that I loved using the massage cream in this facial kit. Definitely worth a try for that alone.

So, go ahead and give it a go. Let me know how it worked for you! So, what do you think about the facial kit?
