Neutrogena Extra Gentle Cleanser Product Review

I know you are getting bombarded with a load of product reviews since last week.Please bear with me since my shelf is fulllllll of soooo many of them and most of them I have totally loved!! So, today, I have this extremely expensive cleanser which gets finished in just half a month, especially if you use it like I do. But, I found it amazing for my skin. Why? Read further and you will have the answers. In the meantime, do recommend any of your favourite cleansers as well!!

I did mention that I have started using sunscreen again and as much as I love using oil to remove my sunscreen, I do like to use cleansers sometimes. The latest in cleansers is the balms which seem quite interesting and I am quite interested in trying out the one from Clinique. May be in a few months! While searching for suitable cleansers, I came across this one from Neutrogena. I have managed to empty the bottle in just 15 days which is why I said it is expensive. So, let me elaborate on why I like the product.

Neutrogena Extra Gentle Cleanser Product Review

Availability : easily in all cosmetic outlets

Suitable for : Dry and Normal Skin

Packaging : It comes with a pump packaging. Since the bottle is large size, it is not travel-friendly but you can always decant it into travel-sized bottles.

Texture : The cleanser is creamy and spreads easily on wet skin.

If you are a regular reader on the blog, you would know that I am a die-hard fan of Garnier Pore Unclogging face wash even though it has SLS. On my last trip to the supermarket, I was searching for another face wash which my skin would love and I picked up this Pure Active Neem one thinking it would be just the same and more over it was in a buy 2 get 1 offer. Bad idea to buy things for the first time in such offers!!

Anyways, needless to say the product disappointed me a lot. Why? Let us check out.

Garnier Pure Active Real Neem Face Wash Product Review

Price : Rs 90 for 100gms
Availability : at all the supermarkets and online shopping sites
Packaging : travel-friendly like all the tube face washes.
Texture : gel face wash, green in color and needs a bit of water to wash off as it leaves a slimy feel after washing the face.
Ingredients : It does have SLS, salicylic acid and sodium benzoate instead of parabens as preservatives.

After my hair makeover, it was finally time for me to concentrate on my skin. I was checking some of my before-wedding pics and my skin was Soooooo good and now it is just not that great!!! So, the first thing I did was to order off the MVO sunscreen which I have always loved. Btw, the worse thing is they have stopped shipping to India due to the custom problems which makes it difficult to or the product anytime I want.

And, the second thing on my list was a good moisturiser. As I have reiterated countless times, I have never found the perfect moisturiser and I did not want to use any oil so I decided to try out biotique as I love the brand and it suits me. So, I went and bought this product. And, before I begin, I am loving it. I have read a few negative reviews of the product as well but I would totally recommend it if you have my type of skin. So, read on!

Biotique Bio Saffron Dew Youthful Nourishing Day Cream Product Review

Price : Rs 199 for 50 gms
Availability : at all the stores and websites so this is not an issue at all!
Packaging : The product comes in the classic Biotique packaging which btw has changed from oval to round jars. It is easy to carry but a little cumbersome and does not leak at all.
Texture : The product is creamy and gets absorbed immediately in my skin.
Ingredients : As always, I am a little skeptical of biotique ingredients because of their mention of base Q.S. I wish they would be more forthcoming about it. As far as in understand, they buy the base for all the products and add their signature ingredients to the base and then package it. Btw, did you know they have come up with an advanced range of products for anti-ageing skin care?
