Salt Scrub DIY with Flower Infused Oil

Swathy · May 28, 2018 · 5 Comments

Forest Essentials Hydrating Sea Salt Crystal Rose Dupe, Salt Scrub DIY with Flower Infused Oil

So, remember my review on Forest Essentials sea salt crystal rose body polisher? I had mentioned that the brand also gives away a bottle of same oil mix used in the salt scrub which I did not need to use at all so I could do a DIY salt scrub using the same infusion. I got the himalayan crystal salt from the organic store and it is a beautiful pink in color. A perfect ingredient for a salt scrub DIY. So, let us check out the simple process of this DIY.

Forest Essentials Hydrating Sea Salt Crystal Rose Dupe, Salt Scrub DIY with Flower Infused Oil

I finished using the forest essentials hair vitalizer serum just this week and that reminded me that I could probably share my best products from Forest Essentials just like I did with Kama last week. Recently, I did quite a few product reviews from the brand and almost all of them are a huge hit for me.

In fact, I can not wait to buy the tejasvi emulsion but I am holding my horses because of the cost and also because I am getting a few other amazing products which I am dying to try. Yeah, I did my first international online shopping this month! And, man, is it not easy to spend money when the shipping is free? I hope the customs also gets free though 🙂

Oh by the bye, regarding the hair vitalizer serum from the brand, I am not a fan at all. I prefer the Biotique mountain ebony which is way cheaper and also it did give better results. Forest essentials hair vitalizer serum also smells strong and the fragrance stays for almost a day which is really difficult to bear for my nose. Overall, I would say you can skip it though I know it has rave reviews all over the internet. Anyways, so let me share my favorites from the brand.

5 Personal Favorites from The Body Shop

the body shop

I remember the first time I came across The Body Shop products, I found the brand too expensive (that was in 2011). I did my first haul then and after that I did not revisit the brand till they launches Oils of Life. Since then, and more so because my father discovered the body shop body butters, I have become a pretty regular customer of the brand. Okay, yes, their body butters are definitely worth a try but I did like a few others as well. So, check out my favorites from the brand.

The Body Shop Wooden Detangling Comb (review)

This has been a favorite of mine since my first haul though I got another set of combs from a different brand which I am liking even more. If you have not been using a wooden comb, you have to give it a try and see the difference for yourself. The only problem is that you have to dry it off immediately after washing it or the water makes the wood bloated and brittle. Also, be careful not to drop it as it can break. In the last seven years (since 2011 February), I think I got three combs but if you are careful they are long lasting.

The Body Shop Cactus Brush (review)

Another favorite but I use this as a dry brush. I have had one since last seven years and I try to use it religiously. You have to make dry brushing your routine, if you have not yet tried it out. It helps your lose weight, makes your skin more softer and gets rid of the dry and itchy patches. There would be other brushes in the market which are a lot less expensive but I still like this one for its bristles. They are hard and give a good brushing to the body and wakes it up like nothing else. You can literally see your skin glow.
