The body mists and face mists have always baffled me! I never really understood what they were for and how to use them until I almost used up half of the bottle of forest essentials body mist. And, I am so glad I did not give up hope since using The Body Shop Aqua Mist once upon a time. In fact, they are now my go-to for smelling awesome though I must say Forest Essentials does not come cheap!
A bed of roses and the spiciness of cardamom comes through. I love the spiciness which keeps on developing on contact with your body heat. The notes are deep.
Forest Essentials Body Mist Rose and Cardamom Product Review
Price : Rs 1,250 for 100ml
It has been a few years since I got this one and if you have observed, I used an expired product! But, I have to say that there was no difference or any sort of product going bad even after almost a year of expiry. Though, this is strictly not suggested.
So, coming back, the product smells awesome! A bed of roses and the spiciness of cardamom comes through. I love the spiciness which keeps on developing on contact with your body heat. The fragrance is more for people who like warm fragrances instead of the floral and lighter ones. The notes are deep and feel refreshing all through the day.
The forest essentials body mist comes in a spray bottle and thankfully the spray works well till the end. It dispenses a good amount of the body mist. Okay, something to note here is that the forest essentials body mist sprays as a liquid and it rolls down just like water. Even though it has alcohol, the mist does not dry up immediately on contact with skin.
The fragrance is sharp and hits the nose right when you spray it. Like perfumes, you should use the body mist on your pulse points to make it last longer. And, make sure your skin is moisturized well before using it. People with higher body temperatures are luckier since the body heat makes the fragrance last longer. I like to layer this mist a few times – right after the shower, after moisturizing, just before going out – to make sure the fragrance does not evaporate.
One inconvenient thing I would like to mention specific to the forest essentials body mist is that it may sting when you spray it, specifically if you have not moisturized it. I am not sure why it happens but I am assuming it may be due to the higher concentration of essential oils and sensitivity of your skin. The sting is pretty sharp and takes a while to go off. So, this can be a deterrent for some people.
Overall, I loved this forest essential body mist in rose and cardamom, the sting issue aside. In fact, I love it so much that I prefer this to the perfumes I have. Definitely worth a shot!!! Have you used any of the forest essentials body mist? How do you like them?

Why why why does it sting. It sounds perfect otherwise.
