Vichy Thermal Spa Water vs Kama Vetiver Water

Swathy · May 26, 2016 · 4 Comments

Vichy Thermal Spa Water, Kama Vetiver Water

Do you like using toners or face mists? Earlier I was not so sure but after using these two products for the last few months, I am totally in love with them, especially the Vichy Thermal Spa Water for its misting action. You have to experience it!

Though, I can not use them in this humidity. Hyderabad has the best weather at all times except from March to May. But, this year, it was so hot since February that we had early spells of rain storms, literally, from the first week of May causing higher humidity than regular times. Worse still, the rain storms are causing the transformer problems in our area causing regular electricity cuts. Life is so difficult if we do not have easy access to internet, right πŸ˜‰

Btw, do you watch Game of Thrones? I HODOR it πŸ™‚

Vichy Thermal Spa Water

Price : Rs 650 for 150ml

My Experience

Packaging. I love the metal bottle with readable brand font and graphics. It is really easy to snap! The nozzle sprays the toner evenly on the skin. It is quite refreshing to spray it on your face.

Vichy Thermal Spa Water, Kama Vetiver Water

Usage and Results. I spray it regularly directly on my face, neck and dΓ©colletage. It moisturises and plumps the skin instantly. Skin feels refreshed and effect stays for quite sometime. I have not really seen any other improvement with regards to it being mineral-rich.

One issue is you can NOT use it directly to dilute powdered face packs so that it remains longer on skin.

Overall Verdict

Love the misting action of the product more than anything else! The spray is fine and even. Comes in travel-size as well. Must use for flights when skin dries out. I would definitely recommend it.

Kama Vetiver Water

Vichy Thermal Spa Water, Kama Vetiver Water

Price : Rs 645 for 200ml

My Experience

Packaging. Comes in a spray bottle with screw-able cap. The pump is not really great but it does not fail often either. You can unscrew the cap and use the toner to mix face packs or scrubs!

Usage. I use it in the same way like Vichy thermal spa water. I love to spray it on my face. What is different in this product is its earthy vetiver fragrance. It is absolutely soothing and calming. Otherwise, if I have to say, I can not really point out that it is much different from regular toners in terms of results. Oh btw, I have to say that it calms down the skin especially during breakouts but does not really make the pimple disappear overnight!!

Vichy Thermal Spa Water, Kama Vetiver Water

Overall Verdict

You have to smell it to use it πŸ™‚ I definitely would say YES! I was also thinking to get their lavender water.

Have you used Vichy Thermal Spa water or Kama Vetiver water? Which one do you like more?

wow, we get vetiver also in Kerela? I got vanilla beans when I went there. I so want to go to Munnar again. It is a pleasant place to stay.

I love Kama Ayurveda ! Ever since I have used their Rose Water I am unable to use any other rose water for toning my skin. You must try their rose water too.
