St. Ives Replenishing Mineral Therapy Body Lotion

Why oh why did not I try St. Ives ever before? I ponder yonder on this mystery and go crazy! Okay, I am in absolute love with St. Ives replenishing mineral therapy body lotion and if you have not tried this brand yet, you actually are missing out on one of the most amazing products in the market. I feel like getting all its body lotions right away. They all are so tempting. So, why do I love it? Lets see.

St. Ives Replenishing Mineral Therapy Body Lotion Product Review

Price : Rs 590 for 621ml

Availability : Amazon | Flipkart

Packaging

Comes in a pump bottle which makes it so easy to use the product. You can have a bottle everywhere, in your kitchen, by your sink, in your bathroom, by your bedside table and you do not have to worry about it spilling or getting wasted or anything at all. Just pump and rub. Done! And, you are good to go. Once we shift, I am going to buy multiple bottles for multiple rooms so I do not have to shuttle with one everywhere.

Ingredients

St. Ives Replenishing Mineral Therapy Body Lotion, ingredients

I do like its ingredient list. It has glycerin as the second ingredient, soybean oil, urea which is used for cracked skin and shea butter. Of course, it also has silicones and alcohol.

Usage and Results

When I bought the product, I was not really expecting anything out of it except for a regular body lotion.

First time I used it, it was December and it was extremely dry and when I used the replenishing mineral therapy alone, it just was not enough for me. It was hydrating for sure but not enough to cover up the entire dryness. I was using the Kama ayurveda body butter which is extremely rich so I was not sure whether I liked the lotion and decided to save it up for summers.

St. Ives Replenishing Mineral Therapy Body Lotion

Later, I started using replenishing mineral therapy for my arms after the body butter since they tend to go dry a lot so this body lotion was more like a top up for me. I needed something to seal in the butter and oils from the body butter and what better than a hydrating lotion. That was when I started noticing the change. This body lotion was perfect hydrating product and kept my arms soft and moisturized all day long. I apply this body lotion like 3-4 times a day on my arms, that is how dry they are.

Then, I hit upon a better way to seal in my moisture. I would apply Kama body butter on wet skin. Water makes it easy to work in the body butter and then I follow it up with replenishing mineral therapy to seal in the moisture. And, my skin is absolutely gorgeous all day long. In fact, my arms also do not need multiple applications of body lotion in that case.

St. Ives Replenishing Mineral Therapy Body Lotion
You can see how well hydrated my hands look but you can also see the flaky skin on my fingers

Replenishing mineral therapy is light and non-greasy and gets absorbed in a minute. You do need to work it in a little but that is okay, not too much work. But, it is not enough for my hands. Multiple applications but they still go dry. I do wash my hands a lot, lots of typing and other works and also my hand skin is very very dry and tends to crack a lot so I need something really amazing for them. Any product recommendations for hands?

Overall, I would say that replenishing mineral therapy is exactly what it claims, a moisture treatment and skin hydration levels improve with continued usage. This is a perfect lotion for summers as it is cooling and soothing on skin. For winters and dry skin, you might need an extra layer of moisturization but this product does help a lot in locking in the moisture. So, yes, you should definitely get the replenishing mineral therapy.

Final Verdict on St. Ives Replenishing Mineral Therapy Body Lotion

Absolutely must have! The hydration is just so amazing. No other body lotion has given me these results ever and within such less time either.

What do you think about St. Ives? Do you love the replenishing mineral therapy? Which other body lotions from St. Ives do you like? Do you have any recommendations for me given that we have summers arriving now!

Sounds lovely, am using their skin renewing lotion with collagen n elastin, my skin feels firm and glowy, gives healthy appearance. Usually Vaseline, dove n all makes my skin look darker, but this does not do tht, i m loving it.

Yeah me too… infact I felt something was wrong with my skin when I felt nivea and vaseline made my arms dark. You know when everyone around you is satisfied with products you seem to hate!!!
