4 Luxury Beauty Products I am Loving

luxury beauty products

You can simply say that these are the products which I am absolutely in love with. Okay, there must be a few luxury beauty products in your stash which you have spent an inordinate amount on but have not regretted the expenditure. I am sharing my such products here. I have been using them for quite sometime but I have not finished any of them yet and they are all my first buys.

All four of them are luxury beauty products and come under indulgence category, if not absolutely expensive. The least cost is Rs 1200 which is equivalent to 18$ which does not look very expensive dollar wise but rupee wise comes under luxury segment. So, let me start. I am starting with the least expensive and moving on.

Luxury Beauty Products No. 1 – Kama Ayurveda Kokum & Almond Body Butter

Price : Rs 1195 for 250 gms

Smells delicious. Absolutely heavenly. Must for winters. Moisturizes and keeps skin soft and hydrated for more than a day. Must have for a pampering session. And, I smell delicious with this. In fact, I love to smell myself when I use this 😀

A definite winter product for extremely dry skin. For regular use, I prefer something inexpensive. Currently, I am using St. Ives mineral therapy which is absolutely not for this season. I need to get something else! So, if you really love to douse yourself in delicious products, this is one must-have.

Kama Ayurveda Kokum & Almond Body Butter

Okay, the product is thick as you can see. So, when applying this, it must be rubbed properly and massaged for a minute to sink in. Does not leave any slimy feel and gets absorbed pretty quickly for the texture. It really is a skin savior.

What I do not like – I wish this came in a glass packaging instead of a plastic one, not sure recyclable or not! After all, the price does ask for environment friendly packaging.

Luxury Beauty Products No. 2 – The Body Shop Spa Wisdom Africa Ximenia & Salt Scrub

Price : Rs 2195 for 350 gms

It says it is a scrub but trust me it does a fabulous job at failing as a scrub. I would instead say it is a washable body butter. The scrub granules are so mild, they hardly provide any exfoliation for the body.

The Body Shop Spa Wisdom Africa Ximenia & Salt Scrub

As you can see, it looks a lot buttery. I like to spread it on wet and warm skin after shower and then massage it in for a couple of minutes and wash off. It leaves skin buttered and plumped up and just feels awesome. No need for a moisturizer if it summers but I like a layer of Kama body butter.

What I do not like – Comes in a glass jar with an air tight cap and proper locking system. But, it is a pain to open with wet hands so make sure you unlock it before you start your shower. And, if you want serious exfoliation, this is not something for you.

Luxury Beauty Products No. 3 – L’Occitane Almond Shower Oil

Price : Rs 2890 for 500ml

Smells heavenly. I never knew a shower gel could feel so luxurious and so amazing and can boost your mood so much. I found this gem on Paris’s blog and got this immediately on my trip to Malaysia last year. I have used it probably 10 times till now and you can see I have lot of product to finish.

I need at max. 5 pumps each time for the entire body so this is a really good investment according to me. Also, it makes you and your bathroom smell amazing. And, it hardly lathers but cleanses so well. Destresses along with washing off the grime of entire day. I would really ask you to try it. And, I am becoming a fan of this brand as well.

What I do not like – Nothing!

L'Occitane Almond Milk Concentrate

Luxury Beauty Products No. 4 – L’Occitane Almond Milk Concentrate

Price : Rs 3690 for 200ml

Okay. This is just a body butter and at that price for that quantity, it is a huge luxury. If used daily, it would hardly last a month or two so definitely very expensive.

But, it feels so amazing on skin. The texture of the product is just so creamy and so beautiful and just like freshly whipped cream. I am just out of words and I love the jar it comes in. It looks sooooooo good.

I just love it though I would not say the product is anything extraordinary. It is just an excuse to spend money but I am not sure I would really ask you to do that 😀 I am in love with the look and feel of this product.

What I do not like – If you ask me honestly, Kama is way better performance wise and extremely inexpensive when compared to this.

Have you used any of the above luxury beauty products? Which one do you like? Which is the most expensive beauty product you have bought till date?

I too use the Kama Ayurveda Body Butter and love it. Will try the TBS scrub. Btw, have you tried any other skincare from Loccitane?

hey Archana. yeah, I am in love with Kama but make sure you check out the texture of TBS scrub before getting it just in case you do not like it. For L’Occitane, these are my first products from it. I have their 28 day renewal program as well which I am planning to use at the end of winter in Feb.

Thank you. I too was interested in the 28 day program, but found it too expensive. Do review them after using whether they are worth the price.

I got it for 100 usd at Dubai airport. asked my mom to get it so it was cheaper for me that way. but, yeah, will definitely review it. unfortunately I ended up using two vials in August but found the first week oil which is supposed to be exfoliating was actually exfoliating so I am really excited to see how it goes for me 🙂 may be I will start it from January only!!
