My Experience

After a very long time, I have used a body wash. I bought this on recommendation from Shikha herself, one of the founders of Neev. She said that it is one of their bestsellers and I can imagine why. Its simply amazing in one word.

Neev Rose Olive Body Wash Product Review at Perfect Skin Care for you

The ingredients list is on the top of my list in the praises for the product. It uses lye (potassium hydroxide for liquid soaps) which is equivalent to lye (sodium hydroxide in solid soaps) in handmade soaps. It also has rose petals in the bottle.
It comes in a flip top bottle and the texture of the product is quite weird. The top of the layer generally crystallizes which I guess is due to the reaction with air but otherwise the soap is liquid. When I say crystallizes, it just becomes a little jelly kinds.
Whether in crystalline form or liquid form, it lathers really well and is very gentle on the skin. The only problem is that you HAVE to follow it up with a moisturizer otherwise the skin does feel a bit dry. No, there is no stretchy feeling.
I think this may be due to the dryness in the weather. But, it will suit the skin in summers. It smells really good of roses. And, it also leaves the skin really soft. I would definitely recommend you to try this once. They also have shampoo with the same formula.

My Hair Diaries – October 2012

Swathy · November 8, 2012 · 10 Comments

What did I do in October?

As such I have not done anything great in this month but yup, I did try to maintain my alternate day routine of oiling and washing the hair. Well, ok, skipped oiling quite a lot of times but kept up with washing part to keep the hair clean. No DIY again!!
After using the Kamini treatment last month, my hair did become a lot softer and less dry. But, this time I changed the products except for the shampoo. Also, I did order Basil essential oil which is also supposed to be great for hair growth and jojoba and grapeseed oils which again are supposed to be amazing for hair.
One DIY which I tried was using vinegar as last rinse but I don’t know if it really helped. Forgot to take the snaps that day!! Also, ordered Organic Surge finally and also got a pair of flats!! Never got footwear online….hope it fits ok!! Will share it with you when my camera gets ok 🙂
Products Used
  • Soul Tree shampoo + Kamini Shampoo
  • L’Oreal Total Repair 5 Hair Mask + Liz Earle Botanical Shine Treatment
  • Rustic Art Aloevera gel (for hair length) + DIY Aloevera Scalp Gel (for scalp) + The Body Shop Polynesian Monoi Oil (a drop is enough)
  • Forest Essentials Sesame Oil (for scalp) + The Body Shop Polynesian Monoi Oil (for the length)
What do you think about my hair this month?

    How you celebrating your Sunday?

    Swathy · November 3, 2012 · 2 Comments

Ok, so, I have ran out of gossip!!! My Saturday was quite hectic because I had to go to Mehdipatnam to buy some sarees my mom wanted. I hate doing such works. I was so confused when I reached there. I mean all of them were looking same and then the lighting in the shops are really bad.

You will never like anything when you come out of the shop but the shop lights make everything look glamorous!!! Anyways, finally, I got that and along with I got lot of snacking equipment 😀 I am gonna enjoy tonight…eeaaahhhhh. Sad that I finished watching Vampire Diaries in the morning, I could have made it a night show.

No worries, I will find something else as easily 🙂 And, now, I am so tired 🙁 I feel like spending all my weekend sleeping!!! Don’t know what I will do on Sunday but some plans might materialize. Lets see and then I might do some shopping as well…yay!!!
