Forest Essentials Hydrating Sea Salt Crystal Rose Body Polisher

Forest Essentials Hydrating Sea Salt Crystal Rose Body Polisher

As mentioned in this interview, salt scrubs and sugar scrubs are the best for the body! The Forest Essentials Hydrating Sea Salt Crystal Rose Body Polisher is my first salt scrub. Before this, I had used one from the body shop which I loved a lot but it was more of a butter than a scrub. This one, however, is a scrub and a moisturizer as well because of the oil suspension. In fact, this is one of the easiest DIY’s to do at home as well. So, you know what is the next DIY you are gonna see!!

But, the best part of using the scrub, for me, is not the silky soft skin but amazingly fragrant skin which has a beautiful sheen to it.

Price : Rs 2750 for 300gms

Definitely expensive, especially given that I got hardly 10 uses from the jar. I do tend to overuse my products so may be you will get 15-18 uses overall but then the price is definitely on the higher side. The Forest Essentials Hydrating Sea Salt Crystal Rose Body Polisher is a truly luxury item and the ultimate skin spa as it claims to be. Save it for special occasions.

Coming to other things, the sea salt crystal rose body polisher comes in a package along with a bottle of the same oil mix used in the scrub (to be used in case the scrub dries out or runs out of oil) and a wooden spoon to scoop the scrub out. The oil and the scrub smell heavenly. In fact, I would ask you to try it just for the fragrance. Who would not want to smell so delicious and tempting?

The texture of the sea salt crystal rose body polisher is obviously like salt, grainy and harsh. The salt granules are harsh initially but they melt on contact with skin due to the heat. The flower infused oil in which the salt is suspended moisturizes the skin at the same time. I like to leave on the scrub for a good 10-15 minutes to let the oil seep into the skin while I wash off the tiles in the bathroom.

Results? Amazingly soft skin you would not be able to resist touching all the while. The effects last a good two days. You can skip the moisturizer right after using the scrub and the next day you would need a light layer of a hydrating lotion rather than anything heavy! But, the best part of using the scrub, for me, is not the silky soft skin but amazingly fragrant skin which has a beautiful sheen to it. The forest essentials sea salt crystal rose body polisher is your go-to product before an event or when you want to indulge. So, have you used it? How do you like it?

Tempting indeed – but it is rather on the expensive side.
