Nivea Whitening Smooth Skin Deodrant {Product Review}

I am really not much of a fan of deos. Its not like I use perfume but I sure as hell prefer them over deos. In fact, any recommendation for the perfumes would be welcome 🙂 Any inputs on Chanel No. 5???

Anyways, reviewing a deodrant has to be the most difficult and awkward thing! So, what should I start with? Ok, the deo does last decently long upto 4-5 hours and another whiff and you are good to go.

Pros
lasts 4-5 hours
does give a refreshing feeling

Now, I have a very weird habit of putting the deo on the clothes instead of the bare skin. Well, honestly, somehow the deos sting my skin unless I spray them from a mile away so I did check out if the deo stains the clothes or not.
Well, in most cases it did not but then it actually did stain my black tee which was bad. Needless to say, it was not a long term stain. It got washed away. So, I do use it carefully.
How does it smell? Guess my olfactory senses become numb I guess when encountered with a deo 😀 They all really smell the same to me and in a good way. Nothing offensive, just the regular thing.
Also, yes, I do not know about the fairness and whitening claims because I do not have dark underarms for one and I have not directly used it on my underarms for other. But, yes, its worth a try!!
Price: Rs 199

    I have been using it since 2 1/2 years now, almost regularly. And on direct contact with my underarm skin, that is. LOL, they come in 3 variants. It has a flowery-talc-like fragrance that lingers for long. And as for whitening, since it controls perspiration to a great extent, the dark patch that is quite visible is greatly reduced. But once discontinued, the underarm skin is back to normal.

    As for Chanel No. 5, it has a very synthetic jasmine-ey smell..those mature aldehyde perfumes that our mother’s used to use in their more younger married days. That’s how I describe it. Since, it is the first aldehyde perfume it has that synthetic feel, too.
    You might want to try Marc Jacobs’ Daisy. Youthful and fresh..floral..a daisy-field-feel. Or Dior Miss Cherie is nice, too.
    If you are into a more mature scent, try J’adore by Dior. Don’t go for Chanel Chance__ it’s terrible. The hair perfume is nice though.
    Try Elizabeth Arden’s Red Door or Green Tea, too. Paco Rabanne Black XS is nice too.
