Forest Essentials Tranquil Sleep and Stress Relief Combo Product Review

I got these products in my last year stay at ITC for our anniversary. Then, I checked out if these products are available in the stores as well or if they were just specially packed for the hotel. Turns out they are available on the online store here but I have no idea about the outlets.

A special mention here for the ITC guys. They had assisted Mr. P in such a wonderful and helpful manner and gave us the most amazing anniversary surprise. As such I do love ITC hotels for their hospitality and food. You must definitely try out their Kebabs and Kurries restaurant in ITC Grand Hyderabad.

Anyways, getting back to the review, I have been trying these products since then on and off. Just in case, you are still confused about the products, these are essential oil blend sprays to address stress and sleep disorder issues. So, let us check out whether they do address the issues or not!

Forest Essentials Tranquil Sleep Product Review

The essential oil blend smells majorly of lavender with faint hint of geranium which is the fragrance you get after lavender evaporates. I did nor really feel nutmeg or sandalwood but then geranium might have overborne their fragrances.

Once you spray it on your pulse points, especially behind the ears, you do feel a lot relaxed and go into the sleep mode. The blend helps you wind down after a long day. In fact, it is advised to spray the blend on your pillows as well to envelope you with the aroma.

Interestingly, I also tried to use these blends as perfumes and I can say that they linger on for quite sometime, like an hour or two. And, initially, you might find the smell pretty sharp. In fact, I do find it pretty sharp but within seconds the fragrance reduces to a mild whiff. But, does not disappear completely.

Just like Forest Essentials Tranquil Sleep, it works best for me when I spray it behind my ears. That way I can constantly smell the blend. Does it reduce stress? I am not really sure. Once your spray it, the first whiff is a strong lemon scent. And, I can say that it is quite strong unlike the Tranquil Sleep.

In fact, I can smell only lemon, no lavender or peppermint. Since it is a citrusy scent, it does invigorate your senses but I can not vouch for stress. And, I can use this as a perfume as well. The aroma is very fresh. But, there is a problem with both the blends.

The products can irritate your skin sometimes when sprayed as they seem to be pure essential oil blends. And, I am sure there might be alcohol as well or I do not understand the spray mechanism, how it works! But, nothing is specified about it.

My Verdict

I would definitely recommend you to try it out in the store first and then see if it suits you!!

Well, that was my experience. You tell me, have you tried out the product? Did you like it or hate it? Did it react with your skin?
