Does your hair color reflect you?

Okay, I had wanted to keep this for the next instalment of My Hair Diary but it is too tempting to miss out so here goes!

I finally got my hair color and I have the perfect red and I LOVEEEEEEEEE it 🙂 So, I just have one good pic of my hair. As of now, I just could not find time to take the perfect pic for my hair.

Anyways, Mr. P hates the hair but incidentally even my father did not hate the color entirely and I did get many many compliments for the color. And, that makes me happy. And, now, I so agree that getting a hair makeover is the best way to cheer yourself up. After a bad spot of health, the cysteine treatment and now the hair color has gone a long way in improving my mental state and of course the extremely painful injections have played their own part!! Can you imagine I had to take two injections every alternate day for a week and it had become so difficult for me to sit 😀

I am deeply saddened by the death of the former president, APJ Abdul Kalam Azad. He was magnificient and those who have been around him would know that he was just so approachable and humble. An inspiration and legacy to look up to forever.

Anyways, do let me know what you think about the color?

hi Supriya. thanks a lot 🙂 I had got it professionally colored so the global coloring was essensity from schwarzkopf and the red streaks are from the show stopping collection of lakme.

Very sorry to hear about your health. It’s very hard but with time and good care of yourself you will definitely begin to feel better. Am glad that you have taken active steps to cheer yourself up. I remember coming down with pneumonitis, being hospitalized and then left uncared for two years. Had to pick myself in every possible way- physically, mentally, emotionally and I was pretty hard on myself. I am glad that you are really pulling up your spirits. Your hair looks magnificent. I love the color, it’s soo SOOO good. I think it’s perfect 🙂

wow…how did you manage for 2 years yaar when I could not hold out for 2 months!! I was so down emotionally and that was the hardest especially when you are depressed all the time and have to manage a house!!

When you really feel that you can’t manage, ask a close relative/friend(sister) to help a little bit.
Always take tiny breaks in between each chore. If you are still ill, have a parent live with you till you are nursed to health
First priority is your health, ofcourse.
Get a nanny who can take care of you and the house just for a little while. it will make things easier for you.
Else, ask hubby to pitch in with the chores 🙂
It takes time to come out of the depression but you will surely start to feel better. just don’t dwell on the past too much , that used to bring me down a whole lot. now i know better 🙂

Hehe, my hubs is not exactly very cooperating when it comes to house running. He would rather lie down and be lazy than help me out which is why the whole situation occurred. Since I got a maid, things have been better 🙂 yeah, so true about the past thingy and I am now a lot better with injections and all. I guess depression can also be state of nutritional deficiency. One has to really take care and now I am definitely focussing on happiness, whatever may happen.
