My Experience
the texture is very light and a very little product is needed for one time
It has been long since I had been literally wanting to use the Clean&Clear Skin Balancing Oil-Free moisturizer. My past experiences with this range hasn’t been great but this one definitely caught my eye as hydration for my skin was one of my major concerns and I believe one of the root causes for most of my facial issues. So after the last dollop of my Lotus creme got done with, I went ahead and bought the smaller version of this moisturizer [small but ample for a long time]. Cleansed and scrubbed as I normally do and then got to massaging in with this moisturizer – Cautiously at first but with ease progressively. And Behold! True to its word, Oil-Free ’twas! No greasy feel, soaked to the pores, soft to touch skin. That was the first day. Come evening, I tried it on again. And the next day. My skin felt deliciously hydrated, smoother, softer, nourished, and no, the face does not get oily as the hours tick. A week later I noticed a healthier skin and felt no dry patches that were before using this product. It also does not have any fragrance that sometimes irritates the nose.
My Recommendation
A must go-for!! It’s an absolute must-have. Also makes up for a rich eye cream in emergency or for first-time users.

This was one product which was on my wish list since long. I had heard great reviews of the product and many had claimed that the product had removed tanning to quite an extent and since I am basking in the sun almost everyday so tanning is one of the first effects apparent. So, lets see if it worked or not?

My Experience
It is a soft brown colored mousse textured mask which is creamy enough and does spread easily. And, dries fast enough – around 10-15 minutes. But, it is a clay based mask so it hardens and is difficult to remove as usual. And, I would say it will suit all skin types as it is a little creamy.
But, as regards to the results, well my dad commented that my face was looking really bright and fair 🙂 So, I guess you know coz guys and males hardly notice things and generally give negative comments!!! And, I think it does help remove tanning but I am not very sure of that claim though I had used the pack on alternate days for almost two weeks. May be it does and may be it doesn’t. But, I definitely don’t have anything negative to say about the product. It doesn’t dry out the skin afterward but it is better to follow with a moisturizer.
My Recommendation
Worth a try anyways!!! And, good at pecking up the skin in a rush 🙂

Brown Sugar Facial Scrub {DIY}

This is a slightly modified version of the Body Polish Recipe I had shared a while ago. 
Ingredients
  • 1 sachet  brown sugar
  • Oil to mix the sugar (preferably Apricot oil)
Method
Mix the ingredients. Use enough oil to make a paste and not more. Use the mix to scrub your face and neck after cleansing thoroughly. Scrub till the sugar melts and this doesn’t really take more than a minute but be gentle otherwise it can leave your skin feeling a little tender. After scrubbing, wash off the scrub and leave the oil as it is on the face. Do not wash it off. Follow with a little moisturizer. 
In place of apricot oil, almond oil is a great substitute. Both the oils get absorbed quickly into the skin and do not leave any greasiness behind. You can also include a drop or two of essential oils.
Results
Brown sugar is more preferred to normal sugar as you all are aware. This is because of the lesser calorie count of the brown sugar due to the presence of molasses which increases the water content in the sugar. This is also a reason that this is a better scrub than white sugar because it is less abrasive and hydrates the skin.
So, the results are awesome!! Your face is glowing and the oil and moisturizer combination leaves your skin soft and really supple all day long. A great scrub for emergency occasions. And, an extra benefit is that your skin is taut and tightened.
