5 Ways to Use the #Dettol Multi-Use Wipes product reviews

When I was younger, I always used to wonder what would keep my mom inside the kitchen or around the house for hours together. Her work never seemed to get done. Being a house-maker myself now, I realize how diligently she did all her work and how negligently I carry on!!
Probably the dusting and cleaning and wiping are the most arduous and time taking tasks though they do not even come on our lists of TO-DO things! At least for me, they are. Because I hate water spilled around the wash basins or the hard water stains all around the house.
So, when Dettol sent me these multi-use wipes, that was the first thing I tried them on. The wiping. And, to think of it, I never really thought of using the wipes in this way. So, I did give them a try so let us see what all can we do with these wipes.

Hard Water Stains

Having a hard time getting rid of Hard Water stains? I love wiping the area clean after washing (near wash basins or sinks) with these wipes. For more economical usage, you can use it after the day is over to keep it fresh for the next day!!

Around the Kitchen

Whenever I do a complete cleaning of my kitchen, I have a hoard of arsenal as if going to war – a mug full of water, a dry rag, a wet rag, either a cleaning liquid or vinegar solution. But, no need of them anymore.
Wipe off the microwave or the fridge surfaces or the platform or your gas stove with these wipes. Also, the cupboards can be swiped off with them. Once a day wiping is enough unless you are hosting a party or something!!

In the Bathroom

Ok, when you share the toilet with your family members, the toilet seats need to be wiped off for the next member to use with out the eeks factor! And, I personally do prefer the dry bathrooms so using water all time is really not possible. These wipes can be used for that purpose as well. And, similarly for the wash basin and the other surfaces and not to forget the tiles and the mirrors.

Wiping off the Dining Table

This is one of the most easy tasks. I hate cleaning the dining table after meals but this makes it so damn easy and no need of any cleaning liquid either and the glass (my dining table is all glass) is all clean and the spills and other stains get wiped off in a jiffy. This works as well for wood because you should not use water on it lest it gets spoiled.

And, then, the cosmetic usage

Well, it is a perfect travel partner. No water, use this. You can use it as a face wipe, a makeup remover, clean hands during travels, keep yourself safe in the public toilets and what not?

So, what do you say? Did you ever think that wipes can be used in so many ways and that too for house cleaning purposes? Do share your tips!!

Pro Naturals Moroccan Argan Hair Repair Treatment for all hair types product review

So, Argan is the latest fad in the beauty industry, right? Every skin care products, every anti-aging formulation, every dry hair issue has answer in argan oil. I had been long thinking about getting one bottle of myself but I had so many other products to finish off before that and voila, a products lands on my door step.
This is Pro Naturals Moroccan Argan Oil. Does Morocco not sound very exotic? In fact, long time back, I had one reader, Karima, from Morocco who was in regular touch with me. It has been long since I have heard from her but if I ever do, the only thing I would ask her is to bring me dozens of argan oil bottles from there 😀 She once said Moroccan Argan Oil is the best and original and amazing for everything!!
Hey Karima, if you are reading this, would love to hear from you 🙂
And, so, I am here today with something hopefully almost as original as it can get. Honestly, reviewing it is a real challenge because I have no idea how authentic argan oil smells or feels. I just know that argan oil is very thick in consistency but it smells a little sweet and I am not really sure if I like it!! Anyways, lets get started.

Pro Naturals Moroccan Argan Hair Repair Treatment for all hair types product review

  • Price: 43$ for 50ml
  • Availability: Online Website
  • Smell: It has a faint fragrance smell which does not linger for long nor affects the nose!
  • Packaging: Comes in a dark amber colored bottle with a dropper! Btw, real argan oil breaks down on exposure to light so real ones come in dark bottles. Dropper screws on tightly so travel-friendly as well.
  • Ingredients: Well, it does not say anything about the ingredients on the packaging but in the website, it mentions Special Ingredients –100% Argania spinosa kernel oil (Pure Argan Oil), Hydro Cordium: Vegetable based amino protein (strengthener), Purely Natural Plant Control-oil: Supplies hair nutrients and provides a protection layer, Multiple Tartaric Acid Complexes: Facilitate cell rejuvenation. So, I have no idea what to make of it. As far as I have read about real argan oil, it should have only 100% Argania spinosa kernel oil mentioned on the packaging.
  • Texture: The product is thick and does feel a bit sticky after applying the product.
  • Quantity: Just one drop is enough for a shoulder length fine hair. A bit more and hair might feel weighed down. So, the product would last reallyyyy long which makes the worth a bit justified!!
  • Results. So, any leave-in should be applied on just a teensy-bit damp hair. So, same goes for this. Just the right amount makes the hair extremely tangle-free and soft. In the starting when I was using it, I thought it was making the hair a bit rough. But, later on, the results changed. So, the results also depend on what shampoo and conditioner you are using. But, yes, it would not nourish your hair or make it super shiny. Because, I felt it just sits on hair instead of nourishing it. My splits returned even after the hair cut! And, dry Hair needs something else before applying this like some aloevera gel or a drop of oil. But, it does control frizz. Now whether it ends up causing product build-up is something I can not comment on!!

Overall Verdict

So, yes, this product is worth a try because it might work out amazing on some kinds of hair as well. Also, it should not be applied on scalp, only on hair length.

Have you heard about the product? Would you like to Argan oil on your hair?

Red Wine + Honey Skin Facial DIY

I have always wondered how it would be to apply exotic ingredients to skin. But, always fail to experience it when it really comes to them. Because I love to eat those fruits than apply them on the face! So, when it came to using red wine, I made sure that I would experience it. So, let us check out how this DIY turned out!!
Before that, lets talk a bit about red wine. We know it is made from grapes which are basically acidic and rich in Vitamin C and loaded with anti-oxidants. So, the wine, Refosco dal Peduncolo Russo (every wine has its own properties), we have today is quite deep in color and high in acidity. Since it is highly acidic, it is good for acne prone skin and drying as well. So, let us check out how it fares for us.

Red Wine + Honey Skin Facial DIY

Ingredients

  • 1tbsp red wine
  • 1tbsp honey (to combat dryness)

    Method

    • Wash your face. Scrub it, if necessary. Steam your face, neck and décolletage for 5 minutes to open the pores.
    • Take the mixture of wine and honey and massage your face with it the way it is done during a facial. You can get your sister or best friend to do it as well!!
    • Since there is honey, the mix tends to get sticky so keep the steamer on in the interims so that the liquid gets penetrated into the skin and does not dry up.
    • Keep massaging for 30 minutes in this way. Cover your neck and décolletage as well. Do not forget your ears and lips!!
    • You can wash it off immediately or let it sit on your skin for as long as you can as a mask. Whatever you do, wash off with cold water and apply moisturiser.

    Results

There would not be an immediate glow on the face! But, the skin definitely looks plumpier and firmer. And, it helps with making the skin soft and smooth. The lines are less visible. Basically, you can say the anti-aging effects of the red wine shows up. And, the glow comes later on. So, I loved it and now it is your turn!
