Updated from April 2010. A few days back when I was discussing something about best hair products, we came to discussing what is a preferable method to wash the hair. My friend said she washes her hair upside down and she has done so forever. The best part is that her hair does not get entangled. That go me thinking as to whether you are washing your hair the right way.

In fact, it has been since we were young school going kids that me and my friends used to wash their hair upside down as well. Now, I prefer to do it standing up under the shower as it does not tangle the hair and prevents breakage. Thus, I thought it would do us good to revisit the old post on whether you are washing your hair correctly!

Our hair needs a lot of tender care and cleaning is the first step in it. We all think we are shampooing our hair in the right way but are we? Is there a correct way to wash hair? Is it just like brushing our teeth? Well, let us look through a few key points which should never be missed or ignored under any circumstances.

Another bane of my life apart from finding the perfect moisturizer is finding a good soap or a body wash which does not dry me up. LÓccitane almond shower oil seems to be a perfect choice for such a body wash but it is too pricey to be used daily. I was definitely intrigued by the British Rose range of body shop and wanted to try it for myself. And, then, the prices were reduced or sale was on or some such thing so I got these two body shop shower gels for myself among other things.

Unfortunately, the body shop shower gels smell amazing but do nothing for skin except cleaning it. Leaves skin dry and if you do not moisturize, it gets all white and flaky which is not a pretty sight.

As with other cancers, the exact cause is not known. However, there are a few risk factors which might increase your chances of succumbing to this condition.

Older women are more prone to development of breast cancer.
Breast cancer and ovarian cancer may be inherited if you carry the particular genes, BRCA1, BRCA2 and TP53.
Dense breast tissue may be associated with the risk of development of breast cancer. However, this is not confirmed yet. Breast density is always higher when young and it reduces as the female ages but breast cancer is more common in older women so the likelihood of this happening is less. However, dense tissue can hide the lumps or tumor from being detected in the mammogram.
Being over-weight after menopause increases estrogen levels in the body which may cause breast cancer.
Hormonal treatments or use of birth control pills can also lead to development of cancer.
