Do you think it is safe to use a bleach? {Your Opinion}

Hey Everyone! So, I wanted to tell you I have been a lot busy for the past two weeks, I have not been checking my mails or reading any comments except for few posts!! I am really sorry for that but trust me today was a really longgg day and even yesterday and guess tomorrow as well!!
And, mom is gonna come day after after which we have to literally run for everything! Also, mom got a new red sari so I guess I am shifting my engagement sari to red now 😀 And, then I thought that a mix of golden and subtle red hint eye shadows would look gorgeous for the day with red lipstick…what do you say? Ok, I am really bad at it so don’t judge please!
Anyways, I will be bugging you with all this for next two weeks so let me come back to the topic I was supposed to write about. In fact, its not me writing but asking you all – Have you tried any bleach on your face or arms? Is it really safe? Till date I have never used bleach and I am really scared of it!

In fact why this topic came into my mind was that few days back I was just browsing around and then I hit on the fem gold bleach review which had phenomenal before and after snaps! I was like shocked and so tempted to use it off. But, then, I controlled myself and thought I would first know the opinions of you all.
So, do you really think bleaching is a good option? Or, should I stay away from it in the nick of time?

Week 2 Updates {Bridal Files}

I have to say that the week went by in a jiffy! And, I have hardly done anything.
Beauty
Oh btw, I got the first facial of my life. It was pearl from Shahnaz. Though, honestly, I am not sure if it really does anything for the skin. It feels more like a pampering than some actual result being obtained. I feel a complete body treatment would instead be better, donno though!
On a second thought, my skin was apparently glowing right after the facial and the day after as well as opposed to a supposed glow two days later. And, even now my skin is looking really good is what my friends say. Next time I am gonna try a black mask facial. 
And, instead of getting the regular hair spa, I went for the scalp massage which I absolutely loved. And, I am also thinking of a body spa before the engagement day! Lets see what I would do.

Shopping

I am one lazy bride! I have not yet bothered to set foot even in the nearby market and get the regular things for toilet kits. I have decided to have 3 toilet kits at hand which include everything necessary from skin care and oral care to medicines – one for hotel before and for wedding, one after bidai when i go to in-laws place and one for honeymoon trip.
I have done some of the shopping online so that did save me a bit of trouble. And, I have segregated items which I can obtain online without much of a fuss and other things I have created yet another list and probably would wrap it up by today or tomorrow.
Clothes
Ok, I have to say that I have my mom to thank to get this headache off me. Since we have to wear only sarees, that is half of the trouble gone. Otherwise shopping for a lehenga and everything is a big deal. And, I have few sarees already in my stash so I am gonna wear a violet for the engagement. Of course the blouse stitching is still left. 
Invitation Cards
Since not much of a time is left, my parents had bought the invitation cards (empty ones) from Sadar Bazar in Delhi. Well, apparently, its economical as well. And, then they found printers who have telugu lipi coz my wedding card would have telugu and english. It was a damn big headache to find a telugu card printer in Delhi, though!!
Pre and Post-wedding events
Ok, this was a huge headache. We did not know the dates and the muhurat for any of the events except the engagement and wedding. Well, yes, we do have certain other functions for which auspicious times are specified. 
One of them is called “Pellikuturu” which is basically a pre-bridal practice session in which the bride gets dressed up a day or two before the wedding and she is showered blessings by everyone. Same thing happens with the groom. 
And, I wouldn’t even talk about post-wedding things because things are so uncertain and chaotic that I am yet at a loss as to when to take leaves 😐 There is grihapravesh (house warming when the bride enters the in-laws house) and then pagphere (bride goes back to her house first time after marriage after the house warming) and the reception from the in-laws. 
Ok, a trivia for you all. I died of laughter when I came to know of this 😀 Did you know that the pandits specify a muhurat for the first night as well 😀 😀 Gosh, how embarrassing is that!!
Honeymoon Planning
And, then comes this huge factor. Well, I have changed the honeymoon destinations over 5-6 times by now and we are yet not fixed on any. I have no idea where we are gonna go but tentatives are Dubai or Hongkong. Well, Dubai is where we both haven’t gone and Hongkong has Disneyland!! What do you say?
Those were the updates for now. Things will pick up heat by next week so a lot of updates gonna come next time!!

Maybelline Newyork Instant Age Rewind Product Review

This product was sent to me as a gift by Tine with some other things and this is something which I have been using ever since and I totally love it. I did try to explore if I can find the same range in India but I am not sure if it has hit the Indian shelves yet! 
Ok, I do not really know how to use the product and I do not know if this is supposed to be only for dark circles or can be used as a concealer as well. But, I try to use it as a primer underneath my sunscreen. Not only does this make my skin perfect for any product to go on but it also evens out the skin tone. 
Pros
gives a smooth matte finish
build-able coverage
gives a blemish-free smooth skin
keeps skin glowing all day long
keeps the makeup and sunscreen fresh 
blends easily enough

The finish of the product is matte and it can be drying for people with dry skin so moisturization is highly recommended before trying this out. But, otherwise, the skin looks smooth and blemish-free. The coverage is build-able and does not give a painted look to the face.

snaps look bit washed out coz i had taken them at night otherwise the tint of the product is light but it does get blended into the skin pretty easily and goes invisible except for a subtle highlight

If you follow with a foundation or tinted moisturizer or BB cream, it stays longer and does not make the skin patchy at all. In fact, the product keeps the skin glowing and luminous all day long. In my case, I do not even need a touch up (though I don’t really do it!). 
Cons
can be very drying for dry skin
can settle down into lines and creases 
can get patchy if the skin is not healthy
Ok, one word about the packaging. It comes in a twist-up tube and one twist gives you enough product for complete neck, face and décolletage. The top of the twist comes with a sponge through which the product gets distributed on the skin but I do not like it at all because the sponge tends to soak up a lot of product. Instead it should probably have been a pump coz you can not use the sponge to apply the product either!

So, if you find the product any where, do check out the range. And, do not judge me that I am using a dark circle remover as a primer. Its just absolutely amazing and I do not really need dark circle removers so I had to find another use for it. Apparently the foundation of this range is also awesome!!
