True Elements Make My Muesli Grainy Mix

Do you like having breakfast? What do you like for your breakfast? I love a huge breakfast but I hate to make one for myself. Who wants to slave in the kitchen the moment you get up, right? And, I want my breakfast right away. Thus, my fallback option is cereals. True Elements Make My Muesli is a lovely concept which makes it easier for me to choose what combination of cereal do I want.

Cereals have always been my friends though I know the high sugar content do not make them as desirable breakfast options as we would like them to be. So, when I got to know about this interesting customizable cereal from True Elements, I was definitely curious. And, I have to mention here that I am not really a big fan of muesli. You have to keep on chewing it and it takes ages for just one morsel!!

Price : Rs 315.50 for 400gms

Availability : Online Website

Let me start with the packaging. As you can see, it comes in a cylindrical cardboard carton, the muesli being packed in the regular aluminum packs. The one I got was grainy mix with goji berries, cranberries, hazelnuts and pumpkin seeds. It supposedly has honey in it as sweetener but I am not sure how do they put it in a dry mix. The cereal was hardly sweet.

True Elements muesli is crunchy and fun to eat. You can always enhance it with fresh fruits and nuts. But, served with cold milk, the muesli out of the package tastes fresh and wakes you up. A problem with the product is it gets soggy soon so if you like your muesli crunchy, pair it with cold milk and gobble up as soon as you pour it in. I like to put in more nuts which add a crunch.

One thing I would like to add is that this muesli is colorful with the goji berries and cranberries. They provide a nice bite. But, I would love to see more hazelnuts. They are there but broken and in pieces. I like my hazelnuts roasted and whole. So, there is that! And, I would say adding more nuts to the package is actually a very good idea. You could add in a lot of almonds, pistachios, walnuts, all kinds of seeds and everything you like!

Overall, I loved the product and I am in the process of ordering the next batch. This one came in a 400gms pack and my cereals never last me more than a week. I tend to overeat all the time and the worse is that you do not feel full with this one at all. So, you must get some protein in there before you sit down for your breakfast. Couple of pancakes or waffle wiches sound yummy.

What about you? Do you like cereal or muesli? What would you like to pair it with – dried fruits or nuts or fresh cuts?
