Ever since I have entered my 30’s or probably when I was 29, I have been feeling that my skin needs a lot more water than I had been feeding it. So, I started looking for products with water (like this water sleeping mask) or rather hydrating products.
Hyaluronic acid serum is the first choice obviously but I have not yet got one though it is on my list and should be on yours as well, 30 or not!
Anyways, around that time, I came across this product review on My Women Stuff and I was floored. And, then came my trip to Malaysia and I got this. And, after these many months (got it in August 2015), I totally love it and use it more often than I should. Having said that, lets see why I love it so much.

Skin Type, Fragrance and Product Texture
Since this is a hydrating product, it is meant for all skin types. Oily and Combination skin gals can just apply less of it. Dry skin girls can actually use a thick layer and wake up to amazingly plump skin.
The product has a mild fragrance which I do not personally like.
It is light and spreads easily on skin. But, yes, it does get goopy if you apply too much of it on your hands, not on your face. On face, it gets absorbed instantly or in a minute. But, you need to wash off your hands once you finish applying it. Btw, you can also apply a layer of this mask on your hands to keep them soft and plump.
Price Tag, Availability and Worth
Price: RM 90 for 70ml
Well, yes, it is expensive but I would say nothing wrong in giving it a try if budget is not an issue. It is available on Amazon.
Packaging
Comes in a tub with a spatula so you might not like it! I do not really hate the tub packaging, the only glitch is that the products gets under the nails and I do not like that at all!!
Usage
Supposed to be used at night after all your skin care steps are over. But, I prefer to use it alone. I hate layering the products and I do not want to waste the amazing (read expensive) products in conjunction with one another and get the same result. So, one product a day is great for me.
How does it feel on Skin?
It dries off instantly or in a while depending on how much generous you are in your application. After that, it does not bother you much. Yes, you have to wash your hands after applying this as I mentioned earlier but that is okay. Hand hygiene, right? You do not feel dry or stretchy or greasy or heavy after applying it. Skin feels as it is.
Results
Whenever I apply a thick layer, my skin is amazing and well hydrated. I would not say that it is brightened because well-hydrated skin looks bright so its more of a cause and effect rather than the result. So, yes, my advise would be to be generous with it. There is no specific amount of product I apply, just depends on how much I get on my finger and then dip it again if necessary.
I make sure to apply it on my neck and décolletage and my skin loves it, especially with the neck line. Btw, how do you really get rid of a deep neck line, anyone? Yes, it is becoming bothersome and I do not want retinoids.
I use it whenever I feel like so make it 7 days a month and it has been almost 9 months since I got the product and there is almost 1/3rd of the product left. I love to store it in the freezer so when it goes on my skin, it just feels amazing. Quite soothing actually. And, this is a great travel companion as well – simple and light.
Overall Verdict
Surely give it a try if budget is not an issue. It really works. And, makes life easy because you can just apply it and go to sleep and wake up with amazing skin 🙂
