Forest Essentials Silken Dusting/Talcum Powder Product Review

This talcum powder has to be one of the star products from Forest Essentials. I had to get this for my other half. Mr. P. just loves deodorants and I got him off them with a lot of difficulty so I had to compensate somehow.

The first time I got this (in February), I got Nargis fragrance which is too floral for males. This time I got the Oudh and Green Tea which is soothing and masculine enough.

Fragrance and Product Texture

The product comes in four different fragrances. I have tried only Nargis and Green Tea.

In my opinion, Nargis is too floral and strong and lingers everywhere till almost the next day. It will be bothersome for delicate noses. Where as, Oudh and Green Tea is perfect for everyone, male and female. With subtle and not overpowering fragrance, it is a delight to use. The scent also does not linger long unless you get too close to the subject.

The dusting powder has corn starch and arrowroot powder which makes it very fine unlike the regular talcum powder in the market. It feels just a bit rough on first touch but is actually very soft and blends into the skin like a dream.

Packaging

Comes in a cylindrical plastic container with the regular rotating talcum powder caps. Can be carried along but the bottle is too big to be travel-friendly.

Usage

Anytime, anywhere. Just dust the talcum powder on your body and blend into the skin.

Results

Feels extremely refreshing to just smell the product, both fragrances btw. Keeps skin cool all day long and controls sweat as well. Does not exactly give the dermicool effect though but cool enough. In fact, you do feel refreshed after applying it and even hours after applying it.

Overall Verdict

A perfect product for a talcum powder replacement. You can use it on babies and adults alike. Definitely a must try!

Have you tried this talcum powder from Forest Essentials? Which fragrance do you like the most?
