So, we are on the third day of the month already! Gotta buck up. So, today’s activity is all about pampering yourself.
Get a Hair Cut!
How long has it been since you had your last hair cut?
Well, if you talk about me, I am fairly lazy and visit a parlor only after pondering on the thought for at least 15-20 days! Anyways, my last hair cut was 2-3 weeks back but I am not really happy with it.
How long has it been since you had yours?
#DidYouKnow that one should have a hair cut every 6-8 weeks to keep the split ends away. Split ends are the number one reason for damaged looking hair.
So, if you are serious about #OneMonthtoHealthyHair event, I would strongly suggest you to get a hair cut as soon as possible.
Time for some pampering
And, if you are so interested, get a hair spa as well along with the hair cut. You and your hair, both, would feel great at least for 3-4 days!
Do you cut your hair at home?
Do you believe in saving money by getting a hair cut at home? If the answer is a yes, it is a really bad practice. Hair Cuts MUST be done only by professionals using professional tools. Otherwise, it can create more hair damage.
How much hair to cut?
Let a professional analyze your hair and share your hair issues with him / her. And, I would suggest you to get rid of entire hair damage at one go than going for hair cuts in installments. Split ends have a bad habit of climbing up the hair shaft and damaging the entire hair length.

I needed a trim in any case 🙂 According to the lunar hair calender 4,5,6th of this month are good days for trimming hair to increase length is you’re into that kind of thing, so I’m liking that it’s working out with the healthy hair event. Yay!

oh goodie, you too follow the lunar calender 🙂 yup, they say that waxing phase is good for hair growth! i actually wrote a post on it as well. check it out when you have time.

Yup I’ve been following the dates recommended by Morrocan Method website, actually I found that there were different dates given on different sites, so I decided to stick to one. I guess it sounds weird, but I think if farmers follow moon phases even today, and not only in India, then practical experience wins hands down for me- assuming it works in a similar way for hair.

so have you followed it earlier as well or trying it out for the first time??? I did try it on some of my hair cuts. btw, you should also check out. apparently some months are more powerful or something. for example, january’s waxing phase, august, etc. i think it depends on the zodiac signs or something!

I usually trim my hair following these dates- have been doing so for the last few years, and I felt it made a slight difference. Following the signs as well was getting too complicated so I stick to 4x a yr- equinox and solstice months.

hmmm….i should also give it a try then 🙂
