Few days back, I had asked you to guess the products. And, yes, you were right. The range is L’Oreal Paris Skin Perfect which has come up with different solutions for different ages.
Update: Btw, I was not aware that it is a women-specific range before sharing it with my better half! So, beware all the gals before you recommend it to your sweethearts and better-halves. Also, please do check out how does men’s skin differ from women.
Specifications First
- Price: Starting at Rs 99
- Availability: L’Oreal Paris outlets and kiosks.
- Packaging: The cream comes in a wide-mouthed glass jar but the white really falls flat. A pop of color would have brought elegance to the packaging.
- Fragrance: My pet peeve of strong smelling products still holds. The fragrance of the product is not really strong but stays a long time so it does effect one who has a sensitive nose. But, it might prove to be quite pleasant for some.
- Texture: The cream is creamy in consistency and not really thick. Spreads easily.
Usage and Results
As 30+ product claims, it does give smoother and brighter skin.
But, there is one issue with the product! The application. Though the texture of the product is creamy and easily spread-able, it does not blend well into the skin. In fact, I could not figure out how to easily blend it. So, one has to be able to use the product very judicially.
Only pea size dot is enough to cover the face and another for the neck. Anything more leaves white streaks on the skin. And, I do not think it blends well on damp skin so make sure your skin is dry. And, same is the case if you are trying to layer this product with any other.
On the positive note, I have to say that it controls the oil very well. In fact, as I mentioned earlier, I settled for the 30+ also because I felt 20+ range to be a bit dry for my skin so may be you need different formulations for different weather conditions. And, the effects of the cream last up to 2 hours easily. I would definitely suggest to reapply your moisturising cream after a duration to maintain hydration levels in your skin.
As to its claims on spot reductions, I can not really say anything as I do not have such issues!
My Verdict
Finally, I would like to say that it is a good cream and I am sure it will be a savior in the summers.
So, it is a yes if you really want soft and smoother and brighter skin instantly. And, Mr. P totally endorses it 😀
So, what do you say? Would you love to check out the product? Have you already used or bought it ? How did you like it? Do share!

Oh No. I don’t really like products which don’t blend well. The cream’s do look a bit tinted .
Swati says
hey Madhu. sorry for such late reply. yeah, me too. I think all such products must be applied in just dots because tint does leave streaks on the skin otherwise!!

I am 31..n my skin is very dry in all season..whether 30plus cream wl b useful..???
Swati says
hey Swati 🙂 yes, 30+ cream is definitely more moisturizing but it only a day cream. i would also suggest you to use a serum at night as well for proper treatment of skin! my advise would be any oil which suits your skin like argan or almond or even apricot and if you are more interested in over the counter products, you can try out the ponds gold serum. though, i have never tried the serum!!
Meenakshi says
Can we use skin perfect 30+ as night cream also or their is some another night cream for this
Swati says
Hi Meenakshi. Sorry for the late reply! I am not really sure if they launched a night cream for this range but this is definitely a day cream. It has spa factor which you do not need at night so do not use it at night.
Bina says
My skin oily i have pimples along with marks on my face should i go for 30+ as im 26
Swati says
hi Bina. I am not sure if either of the ranges would actually do anything to the blemishes and scars. you must use some specialized products for it. these creams only improve the complexion overall. and, use 20+ since 30+ is a little more moisturizing as is required by the skin at that age!
