Can you imagine my efforts are finally paying off? In a completely unobservant stint in front of the mirror, I realized my hair was an inch or two longer than few months back. This comes as a great news after so much trouble of growing an inch or two of my hair 🙁
In a very desperate attempt, I decided that I would not even get a hair cut till I even out all the layers of my hair. Well, having curly hair and layered cuts since like 3-4 years, it is quite unlikely that leveling of the hair will happen so soon. It might take 2 years for that at the rate of my hair growth!!

Very interesting! 🙂 Happy to know your hair grew so much! But one thing that definitely helps in faster hair growth is regular oiling and keeping it tied up.
I have a question Swati. The leave in and scalp treatment that you have mentioned. Please can you give exact details on how you made it? Also, does it make your hair look oily after application? A post on this would be much appreciated 🙂

hehe…thanks Rosh 🙂
oh…i have not prepared anything. i just use all of them separately and on different times. like, one day i might use a few drops, upto 5, of grapessed oil for only scalp and 2 drops of pomegranate oil on the hair length. or, instead of those i use coconut oil on the hair length and scalp both so i alternate among them!

ooh ok 🙂
Another question – grapeseed oil that you use on your scalp – is it an EO? If yes, can EOs be used directly on scalp without mixing with a carrier oil? If no, still the same question – can EOs be used directly on skin without mixing with a carrier oil?
Swati Murti says
no its carrier oil only and i have put only 20-30 drops of rosemary EO in that! no EO should not be used naked on the scalp or skin unless its lavender or tea tree! they are too concentrated for the skin or scalp to handle 🙂

Thanks so much, Swati 🙂

hey Iswarya…m so sorry. didn’t reply early on!
well, first of all, water change can trigger a lot of hairfall and unless your body really gets used to it, no one can really do anything!

sorry, the incomplete comment got published!
try out massaging your scalp everyday for 15 minutes using just your finger tips and invest in sls-free shampoos. also, get some water filters because hard water may be causing some issues. rest, i would say you will have to just wade out the phase.
