So, yup, fun time!!! Yay…I am touching one of the touche topics of our gender 😀 So, what do you think? You mind if someone asks you your age? Do you prefer to hide it? Or, do you glory in your age and feel proud of it, irrespective of your status in life (meaning marriage and pregnancy and kids, etc.)?
For me, I do not really mind disclosing my age. But, then, I am 26 and if I say that, people do often think why am I not married yet. I don’t like people thinking about that otherwise I totally love it. I do feel sometimes I would love to be married but then I can’t marry just anyone.
Otherwise, I think I glory in my age. I feel more confident of myself, my body, my mind, the way I think, everything!!! In fact, do you know that if not your face or dressing sense, the way you carry yourself, your confidence gives away your age and sometimes you might just appear a little older according to your maturity.
In that way, you might think its always better to be more immature. Yes, its really good to be a kid at heart. It not only keeps the passion for life alive in you, it also keeps you healthy. But, make sure your intellect doesn’t remain childish. That’s not exactly an attractive trait!
So, do you appear your age? Or, are you more mature for your age?
When I was at your age, I didn’t mind disclose my age. But now, I’m trying every possible way to hide it!
Yes, I know what you mean by the way you carry yourself. Older people carry themselves differently. Even just a glimpse at their back will tell you something about their age. Oh, I don’t like it!! Now, I’m trying every way I can to make myself look neutral (neither young nor old).
hehe…it does happen. i just hope i never come to the stage i would have to hide my age!!!
i never hide my age! it is just a number after all.. people do get surprised when i tell them my age. guess i look younger or maybe older! hehe!
haha…same thing with me as well. many times people think im still in my engg and its like 5 years i passed out 😀
Hiding my age was never an option for me.. May be because people always tell me I look younger than my age.. So it works for me.. In fact I prefer telling my age to people to receive compliments from them.. 🙂

Hey Swati .. I dont mind disclosing my age, in fact I find it quite fun. The reason is that I look much younger than my age (a gift from my parents who both dont show their age on their face). In fact, I was asked for ID to enter an “A” rated film when I was 27 years old 😀
So yeah .. its fun to tell people my age and see their shock .. so in my case, before knowing my age, people think i got married too young … hahaha.
haha…now, that’s too awesome!!! can’t believe that…this has definitely happened with me too but not at the age of 26 🙁 now, I am J 😀 wow…you must be looking so young 😀
Yeah .. I look a bit too young 😉 .. though sometimes this can be a pain, particularly in a professional environment. I think what adds to me looking young is also my height. I am quite short and tiny overall. So yeah, looking younger than you are has its pluses and minuses 🙂

hi swati,its a nice to hear from all,all young ladies all comments but i feel age doest matter,ur heart matters,even,when if u are young n u behave like old its boring so be mature but by heart,for me age doesnt matter
