Nivea Nourishing Body Milk {Product Review}

Swathy · December 3, 2011 · 4 Comments

Price: Rs 198 for 250ml
Ingredients
My Experience
It is an intensive body lotion meant for very dry skin but as far as the texture of the lotion goes, it is not very thick as one would actually expect. Instead, its a smooth lotion and is very easily spreadable. And, one thing which leaps out is that you feel the lotion is very hydrating. It moisturizes the skin very nicely and leaves a very healthy glow behind making the skin look very glowing and supple and dewy. The staying power of the lotion is very very good. It lasts around 12-16 hours at a go and this is in the temperatures varying from 4-9 degrees.
My Recommendation
Yes, it is a good body lotion for all skin types.

    Hi Monali…good to see you after a long time 🙂 how are you doing???
    who said about clogging pores?? at least, I did not feel that it clogged my pores and frankly, I think that clogging the pores is more of a scare than actual incidents. I have used the body lotion regularly and in heavy layers if I may add and still I never felt my skin became heavy or anything. So, I don’t think that should be a problem 🙂

    Hi swati.I was very busy during past days in my cousin’s marriage.So didn’t get time to surf net.Well,clogged pores is a concept about which i have read a lot but never experienced it,except on my face if i use heavy cream for long time.so,i thought to check what you say about this.May be the skin of our body is more resistant than facial skin,so body acne is very rare as compared to facial acne?

    hey Monali…yup that’s true that body skin is different from facial skin so acne on the body is rarer but yup any heavy cream would be clogging the pores but otherwise its not a problem at all!!! I didn’t find any body lotion till date which I felt did clog my pores but there are some ingredients which are debated to clog the pores though I am not sure the rumor is all that true!!!
